Cookie Policy

This is a short policy because there is little to describe. As implemented today, this website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising, session-recording, or cross-site tracking technologies. That is also why you are not being shown a consent banner: there is no nonessential cookie to consent to, and a banner with nothing behind it would be theatre.

1. What this site does not use

• No analytics or measurement cookies
• No advertising, retargeting, or social media pixels
• No session recording or heatmapping
• No cross-site or third-party profiling

2. Technically necessary processing

One thing still happens because it is required to serve a website: my hosting provider keeps standard server logs — for example the requested page, timestamp, and IP address — to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. This is not used to profile you, and it does not require a cookie. The web fonts used on this site are self-hosted, so loading a page makes no request to a third-party font provider.

If a form-delivery or newsletter provider is connected in future, it may set a strictly necessary cookie or token to protect against duplicate and automated submissions. That would be limited to the form interaction itself.

3. Your controls

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because this site does not depend on cookies for navigation or content, blocking them will not break anything here.

4. If this changes

If I ever add analytics or another nonessential technology, this page will be updated to name it and describe its purpose and retention, and a functioning consent mechanism will be added before it is enabled. Related detail is in the Privacy Policy and the GDPR Statement.
